The concept behind Medigraytion is incredibly simple. You already know how to do it, and you do it every day.
Every day we consciously dialogue with our body to direct it to stand up, get dressed, go to the store, and a million other actions. Our conscious thought creates an action result. We literally think it and our body responds. Powerful, yet simple, right?
Using consciousness, is it possible to change anything in our body with our mind? If our mind can communicate with our body to open a door, can it also communicate with our body to balance our microbiome? It is the exact same concept. Medigraytions serve as a powerful guide for directing consciousness by providing mini imaginative stories in a fun and scientific way.
The Medigraytion concept simply brings the everyday subconscious dialogue between mind and body to a conscious level and uses that dialogue to support positive change by reminding your organs, tissues, and glands of their highest purpose and function.
The Science Behind It
Let’s just say hello to the pink elephant you think you see in the room, the one that says “no freakin’ way this works.” Medigraytions are not new age craziness. Neuroplasticity, non-linear cell communication and interoception are science. Real science. Think white lab coats, goggles, and a bunch of messy-haired nerds with pocket protectors forgetting to eat and sleep.
Neuroplasticity allows the neurons (nerve cells) in the brain and body to compensate for disease and to adjust their activities in response to new situations or changes in their environment. Behavior, environmental stimuli, chemicals, toxins, thought, and emotions cause neuroplastic modifications that have significant implications for healthy development, learning, memory, and recovery from disease.
Interoception helps you understand and feel what’s going on inside your body, working with receptors inside your organs, including your skin. These receptors send information about your body to your brain. This dialogue between brain and body helps regulate vital functions like heart rate, body temperature, hunger, thirst, and digestion.
Interoception creates the mind-body conversation and neuroplasticity, through our connective tissue, reacts and adjusts according to what the conversation dictates. Medigraytion pulls it all into a neat package, weaving consciousness and science together as a vehicle to greater health.
